My Testimony and Me

Hey everyone!  For Personal Progress, I completed an experience that included helping my mom with meal planning for two weeks.  I'll share my testimony with you and what I learned by doing Personal Progress.

I hadn't realized before how much work and skill it takes to get dinner ready on time, not to mention how much you have to plan ahead, get your ingredients, and even the amount of work it takes to just set the table and get everyone to sit down.

I love my mom.  It makes me realize how much she does for my family every single day.  I learned a lot just by setting aside the time to plan, prepare, and have dinner with the family.

Guys, my testimony goes way beyond this, too.  I hope you all know that Personal Progress is more than just a medallion.  It's what you do every single day.  And it's not only a part of you, it's who you are and who you choose to be.  I am a child of God.  I know that.  I live as one.  And I love it.  My identity as a daughter of God is priceless to me.

I hope that each and every one of you knows how precious you are.  And I hope that each of you knows how important the purpose of Personal Progress is.  It's not just something you have to get done by the time you leave Young Women's.  It's something that's a part of you and stays with you forever.

I love God and His plan.  Thank you for letting me share part of who I am with you.
